2. Physical properties of temperature sensing components
The precision of the thermometer used in the water bath has a significant impact on the sensitivity of temperature control. If the precision of the thermometer is low, the temperature changes recorded at different times will differ greatly, the fluctuation range of the water bath temperature will be large, and the sensitivity of the water bath pot will be low. It is recommended to use high-precision Beckman thermometers and thermometers with good contact performance.
3. Power of heater
The lower the power of the heater, the higher the sensitivity of the water bath. The heater has high power and fast heating speed, but the sensitivity of temperature control will correspondingly decrease.
4. Internal structure of water bath pot
The position of the internal components of the water bath also affects the sensitivity of the water bath. The thermometer should be placed near the heater, and the heater should be placed near the mixer so that heat can be quickly transferred to various parts of the instrument. The thermometer used to measure temperature should be placed near the object being heated.
